Milestone payments, never ahead of the work

You only ever pay for stages you can see and touch. If a milestone isn't done, the invoice isn't due, simple as that.

The things everyone asks before they let us near their budget.

Fixed means fixed: itemised down to the tapware

Yes, anywhere in inner Brisbane. Dan measures up, asks how you use the place, and you get a written quote within 48 hours. If you don't like it, it cost you nothing but the cup of tea you made him.

The quoted scope is fixed. The only things that change price are what we physically can't see until walls open, asbestos, rot, illegal wiring. When that happens we stop, photograph it, price the fix, and wait for your written OK.

10% deposit to lock in dates, then progress payments tied to milestones you can see, strip-out done, waterproofing certified, fit-off started, handover. You never pay ahead of the work.

Sure. We'll deduct supply from the quote and just charge labour plus anything you missed. We'll flag it early if what you bought won't work, cheaper to swap a tap than re-tile around a bad one.

We'll compare like-for-like scopes: if someone's genuinely cheaper for the same spec, licences and insurances, we'll tell you to take them or match it. Most "cheaper" quotes are missing waterproofing, certs or clean-up. Read the inclusions, not the total.
